Ordering, Shipping and Return Policies

Ordering

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card. Orders can be placed on our website or by using our shopping cart. Gotthelf Woodturnings will use your personal information only to complete your order and to update you about our products in the future. Gotthelf Woodturnings does not share your personal information with any individual or business entity. Any credit card information supplied to Gotthelf Woodturnings is destroyed at the close of the transaction. If you prefer that we not contact you with information about our products and/or specials, please let us know.

Shipping

We ship via United States Postal Service Priority Mail. Shipping and handling charges are based on the weight of your order and your zip code, according to the USPS Priority Mail shipping zones. International orders will require additional shipping and we will let you know what that is before we ship your order.

Our normal turnaround time on orders is 2 to 4 business days from the original order date for in stock items, although most items ship the next business day. During the busy holiday season it may be longer. Please note that due to the handcrafted nature of our products we may be out of stock of a particular item at any one time. You will be notified immediately if this is the case and given the opportunity to replace the item, remove the item from your order or place the item on backorder. Backordered items will be shipped at no extra charge to you.

Damage Claims

Always inspect your package as soon as possible after it is received. If items are damaged, you must report the problem directly to the carrier (USPS) within 48 hours. Please inform us as well so that replacement arrangements can be made if necessary.

Returns

We will gladly refund the full purchase price of a product or exchange the item for you if it is damaged. If you are dissatisfied for any reason with your purchase, and the product is unopened, unused and its original packaging, please contact us within 7 days of receipt so that together, we can decide if the product needs to come back and will know how to process your return when it arrives. Once we have received your returned item, any credits or replacements will be processed. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you choose to EXCHANGE your item, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the exchanged item back to you. In the event that we have made a mistake and sent you an incorrect item, we will gladly cover the cost of shipping the new item.
